We appreciate how convenient it can be to have your wearable device write and record its step data to the Health app after it was away from your iPhone, so we're glad to look into this with you.
It sounds like your Oura Ring isn't transmitting steps data at all, and it's not showing as a connected device in the Health app. Also, the Oura app isn't showing up either. Is this correct?
So that we're on the same page, please let us know more about what's going on with Research Studies in Health app. Are you seeing options for Research Studies, but unable to turn them on or off?
Which model of iPhone and version of iOS are you using? This can be confirmed in Settings > General > About.
Have you had a chance to restart iPhone and your Oura Ring? As this is a third-party device, we may refer to the manufacturer if we determine the issue is isolated to the device.
Is it currently showing as a paired device under Settings > Bluetooth? If so, what happens if the device is unpaired, then paired back?
