I cannot get all my email addresses to show in side bar and the one email address I do have has a triangle symbol with explanation mark.

The triangle symbol is indicative of a connection failure. I recommend that you use the Mail Connection Doctor to determine why you see that. https://support.apple.com/guide/mail/use-connection-doctor-mlhlp1189/mac
Could you post a screenshot of your e-mail addresses to show in the side bar? I think that they are already there but you may need to be shown how to use them.
