Hi!
My devices display is yellow (Light yellow) in color. I turned off the true tone and night shield but didn't help either. I just configured my device but the display doesn't show a normal color though I tried adjusting the color filters. What's my next step? Does apple replace my display or my iPhone as it was just purchased?

If the phone is new the adhesive that bonds the glass to the digitizer has a slight yellowish cast. As it cures that should go away, but if it bothers you by all means contact Apple support about getting the phone replaced. https://getsupport.apple.com

Either you have a screen protector that is turning yellow, or your screen needs to be replaced.

I'm facing similar issue with my iPhone XR for the last 2-3 days now.
I have been using it since the launch in Dec-2018, and it works like a charm so far except this recent issue of yellow patches.
The touch sensitivity is working fine and phone is completely operational.
I'm attaching the picture of the phone for you to look and suggest..The picture was taken with true tone turned off.
I have removed my screen protector, but these patches still remain as these are under the screen.
