Keeping ICloud files linked in Adobe Creative Suite

When I am working in Adobe Creative Suite, how do I keep my linked items

downloaded so I don't have to relink them every time I'm working in the

file? Sometimes I have to relink them multiple times even within an

hour of working in the file.

How to keep files within iCloud Drive downloaded locally on iPad Can’t seem to find a way to keep my iCloud Drive files local. This is rather annoying when going off the grid. You click the “download all” button on the file you want before you leave for your trip when once away from reception you notice the iPad deleted the local download. My work around is to make a copy of all my files from iCloud onto the iPad local files folder, do my work, and once back on the grid, cut and paste all my files into iCloud Drive to override. This is defiantly not ideal. Any native solutions to this?

keep files on computer with iCloud Drive I have my Desktop and Documents folder shared with the iCloud. Now, some files get uploaded and the folder gets an icon with a cloud with a download arrow in it. Then I can right-click and choose 'Download now'. Can I somewhere change these settings? I would like some folders to sync with the iCloud, but the files should always be available on my disk as well. The case is that I'm working a lot with linked files. And when these files are in the cloud, my Mother file cannot find these linked subfiles anymore... Thanks for all advise in advance!

If you are working in Illustrator then "Embed" images when placing, they can be updated after this if changes are made but you don't need to link them each time you open the file.

In INDD create a "Links" directory within the directory of the actual file you are opening and place all linked files and images in the links folder. Or simply leave the linked files loose in the directory with the INDD file.

When you update to a folder with multiple images/links don't forget to check the box shown below, it will speed up the process.
