iPad Camera Black Screen

Has anyone been able to resolve the black screen issue with the back camera on an iPad? I've tried the resetting multiple times and changing various settings as suggested on mac forums but have not had any joy as of yet. It's a 4th gen iPad 32GB, wifi & cell and running it's ios of v10.3.4
