Blue line and won’t turn on

A blue line popped up on the side of my laptop and when I put pressure on it thinking it was something like and marker spot or just something I could remove the screen went black. I shut down the laptop to see if that would work. I was able to login, but when i went to any apps such as safari the screen would go black and I wouldn’t be able to do anything else. Here are something that happened before the line appeared.

  1. My cat put a hole/crack on the left top corner of my laptop.
  2. The laptop fell behind my bed and the charger broke while being plugged into the laptop.

I’m sure the laptop falling and just everything else had something to do with it, but i was wondering if I could fix it in my own or I had to get a professional to fix it.
