iPad not pairing with iPhone 6s plus or iMac. iPhone does not pair with iPad, same issues.

iPad not pairing with iPhone 6s plus or iMac. Has been that way for over a year now. Have tried unpairing, then can't find then when it finally does, after months and months of trying, then does not pair with or even discover either.

Please help. iMac is circa 2015 but updated. iPhone is 6s plus. iPad is circa 2015 (1st gen). Thank you.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 13

An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac orWindows) or an iPad except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. See the following for more information:  https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7722

If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity or AirDrop, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth justneeds to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may helpwith Handoff/Continuity issues: Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support

The following may also be of interest; it also uses Bluetooth but the devices are not paired. Share files between your Mac and Bluetooth devices - Apple Support
