Is there a way to activate the Car Key feature for the Apple Watch Series 5 with iPhone 8+ ?

Digital car key function on Watch SE Does the Watch SE support the digital car key function like the Watch Series 5 and 6 does? All I can find is reference to Watch Series 5 and later, but as the SE loses some functions of the more expensive Watch series, I am not sure if the car key is one of them.

I have a series 6 watch and I cannot add my BMW key to the watch. I have a series 6 watch and I cannot add my BMW key to the watch. I get the error that this car key is not supported on this Apple Watch
