Follow this step by step instruction and reset your iPad.

  • Tap the Settings icon and then tap "General."
  • Tap "Reset" and then tap "Erase All Contents and Settings".
  • Tap "Backup Then Erase" if you want to make a copy of your iPad's content before the reset.
  • Enter your iPad's passcode to confirm you have the privileges to do this.

Schools and businesses typically restrict your ability to do that because they want it operating a certain way. Even if you reset it, it will likely go immediately back to the same configuration it is currently in. If there is a specific issue you're trying to address, we may be able to assist, but a reset will require your school's IT department as sberman mentioned. If you simply don't like the restrictions, you're very much out of luck as it is NOT your iPad, but is your school's.
