I have an IPad Air2 with software being 13.5.1. I wanted to upgrade to macOS Sierra 10.13.6 or higher. How do I do it?

MacOS is for Mac computers, not supported in any iPad or other iOS/iPadOS devices.

macOS is for Mac computers. iOS/iPadOS is for Apple's mobile iOS/iPadOS devices.

The current version of iPadOS is iPadOS 13.6.

You can update your iPad to iPadOS 13.6.
