Downloaded music not appearing on my phone

I made a song on GarageBand which I then turned into an MP3 file and downloaded onto my computer. I put the MP3 file into the Music app. I'm able to play the file on my Macbook, but it won't show up on my iPhone. On the desktop version of Apple Music, I clicked iTunes and then I clicked Account. It said that I have files ready to be downloaded, but whenever I try to click "download now", nothing happens after I wait for a long time. Is there any way I can get this file to appear on my iPhone?

Hello brookeelizabeth08,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

From reading your post, it sounds as your have made a song using GarageBand, converted it to an mp3, and able to play it in your Apple Music library on your MacBook but not on your iPhone, correct? We're here to help you take a look in to that!

Here are two articles to follow with steps to help resolve this issue:

Add and download music from Apple Music or buy music from the iTunes Store

Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support

If syncing the track in Apple Music to the iPhone does not work, you should be able to email the song from the MacBook to an email account on the iPhone and play/download the song from the email attachment.

Please let us know if this helps.

Take Care!
