Vertical text in Numbers
I am trying to do vertical text in Numbers and the Help says to control/click and chose Turn on Vertical Text....It doesn't show anything on vertical text

Interesting. I would like to know the answer to that myself. With a table there is no vertical or angled text for cells, only horizontal (which has been a common complaint over the years unless it got added and I missed it). With a text box, you can rotate the entire box to whatever angle you want by using the format settings in the sidebar on the right. This is basically the same thing as rotating the text. With a shape, I don't see how to rotate just the text or to set it to vertical. You can rotate the entire shape but that is not the same thing. Oh, and I don't see those settings either when I control click on a text box or shape. I have found Help to of little use over the years.
Thanks for the reply. I thought I was missing something...which happens too often. I guess I can enter a letter in each of the cells vertically and increase the font size. Thanks again.
