Several have, no one single cause or cure, did you try the standalone & installing it in Safe Mode?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

No I'm not.
When restarting after installation I got the following message
"Macos could not be installed in your computer. An error occured installing macos. To use apple diagnostics to check mac hardware, shut down, press the power button and immediately hold the D key until diagnostics begins. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again."
I did the latter but I have not tried again yet. I was wondering if anyone had this issue before.
I think you need to explain what your issue was exactly. You have three different versions of macOS listed.
