Hi how do I stop random people from texting my number ??

how to block phone numbers from texts on iphone 11 Receiving many texts each day from different phone numbers, message is the same. I'd like to block them on my iPhone 11. There is no 'add' button that I can find to input these numbers. Considering this is spam I may never get it to stop. Unwanted Text Messages I constantly get unwanted, often vulgar, text messages usually addresses to “Eric”, who I do not know. I have blocked nearly 100 numbers but continue to get them all hours of the day/night. What can I do? Is there a way to block all unknown text messages? Turning on the filter to block unknown text does not work. Is there a more advanced app? How can I stop them? Should I change my number?

Your cellular carrier may offer some provision.

For example, cellular carrier AT&T allows you to forward spam SMS text messages to 7726 (“SPAM” on the telephone keypad).
