Understanding my activity app.

I purchased my very first Apple Watch a few days ago and I am having a little trouble understanding my CAL count. As you can see in the picture it shows that my ring has passed my calorie goal. But at the bottom it shows a total of 3,752. I would like to know what is the correct number of calories I have burnt throughout the day once I take my watch off for the night. Reason I ask is because I know it says total but I was reading that some people say you have to subtract the total calories form the move among and you’ll get your calorie ? Ex: 3,752 - 1,574.
I recently decided it’s time to Lose weight. It would be helpful to understand The amount of calories I’m burning since I already know what my daily calorie intake consists of.
