Not enough disk space for app download

I got a new MacBook Pro. Still I can't download Zoom or any other thing I've tried, besides dropbox. It keep showing me the message that the disk doesn't have enough space.

What should I do?

If your internal storage is full, you need to delete files or move them to an external drive.
