Since iTunes has been destroyed...

I am trying to see if I can get the DRM protection removed from some of my older purchases so that I can put them on a jump drive and listen to them in my car. Since Apple ruined iTunes I don't know how to do anything anymore. The new "music" is less than intuitive. I can't even find where they put the music files. Can someone tell me how to remove the DRM protection from files that I have purchased but are still listed a "Protected" files?

Hi,

You will need to Subscribe to iTunes Match – Apple Support or Join Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC – Apple Support.

However, if you don’t have a lot of purchases, you can burn the tracks to CD then reimport them.
