Notify.app - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP

This notification/pop-up keeps popping up on my screen, and I can't do anything about it because it flashes too quickly to read or click either option. Once, ONCE, it flashed long enough for me to read it (but still went away too quickly for me to click anything. ["Do you want the application "Notify.app" to accept incoming network connections? Clicking deny may limit the applications behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security Preferences." ]

It's extraordinarily annoying, akin to Chinese Water Torture. If someone does not tell me how to make this stop, I will be forced to go into my COVID-infested workplace and work from my office computer because this is simply debilitating. Every time it flashes (which is several times a minute. It's erratic. The intervals are not evenly spaced), the whole computer function pauses for a second, as it does when it wants you to select an option on a pop-up notification. But I canNOT select an option because it GOES AWAY TOO FAST.

It seems that ILikePudding had the exact same issue as me a couple years ago, and it doesn't look like anyone answered them. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8623675 Please do not subject me to the same fate.

Thank you,

Alpity

P.S. apparently my name is Alpity because, to quote ILikePudding: "the username I chose when I got my first iPod when I was a kid is now my username forever. ILikePudding. Rough day."

Just so I understand correctly, are you referring to the Notifications (which is installed by default) or a third party app?

If you are referring to the Notifications (part of the OS), you cannot uninstall or delete it; however, you can control its' behavior by going to System Preferences > Notifications > and changing the entries to "None" and UNticking every other option.

There is an executable (app) called "Notify" that is found buried in the computer-level Application Support folder that is connected to Apple Remote Desktop. So "Notify.app" might be this program trying to interact with the user who had activated remote access, to test this I suggested that the user turn off all such remote access options in System Preferences.
