On the heart rate app, the vertical bars look like my heart rate today varied between 59 and 90, but there are two dots above one of the vertical bars that are at 126. Does that mean that for a brief period my heart rate suddenly accelerated to 126, but not got long enough to warrant a bar?

Hello Pat1226,

We understand that you're looking for some more information on reading your heart rate data, and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction. Everything you should need can be found in our article here: Your heart rate. What it means, and where on Apple Watch you’ll find it.

Specifically, under "When Apple Watch measures your heart rate" you'll find this:

"Some anomalies may appear in the displayed data, resulting in occasional heart rate measurements that are abnormally high or low."

We hope this helps!

Take care.
