Heart rate monitor

In my heart rate graph the vertical lines are mostly solid. Why does it show a broken line here and there? This usually happens when it says my heart rate is low in the 40’s. Does the broken line mean it’s not reading accurately?

High heart rate readings My heart rate hits 120+ at least once a day.
