You can convert iTunes Store purchases only if they’re iTunes Plus songs.

Several years ago Apple offered a way to convert protected music files to an unprotected format for a nominal charge. But that service is no longer offered. I am afraid all you can do is repurchase the song in the iTunes Plus format (free of Digital Rights Management (DRM) limitations).
