I wanted to upgrade my iCloud storage and when I entered my new payment method, it was declined. Although my card history shows that I paid, my iCloud storage limit is still the same.

If the payment is declined then the iCloud storage will show the same as the purchase didn't go through - If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support.

I purchased more iCloud storage, it shows that I paid for it but the storage limit is still the same.
