The white polycarbonate encased 2010 MacBook7.1 with 13-inch display is not

exactly compatible with the later build model of different design specification.

Logic boards and graphic capabilities aside, virtually none of these component

parts are compatible; different size, shape, and technologies cannot interchange.

While I've experience with MacBook (white/poly 2006-2010) and MacBook/Pro 9.1

& MB/Pro9.2. are metal. These have no reasonable path to 'mix-part-upgrade'.

The prototypical 'pre-MacBook Pro' outlier, was Late 2008 Aluminum; and was look

into future for the 2006-2010 early MacBook group. And was the best early MacBook.

There are tech specs sites to compare the gulf of hardware difference; I noted

those, to re-affirm the already known factors, beyond obvious. Check logic board

numbers and specs, against the shell and build specs of either vintage/build Mac.

re: mactracker app / powerbookmedic lookup / everymac ultimate lookup / + other.

While the practical interchangability of these components is unlikely; any project

with enough time, effort & innovation could create some kind of frankenstein Mac.

Good luck & happy trails!🌞🐝
