Music storage

My phone has 18gb of music. If I purchase ICloud storage will that free up the 18gb taken up by the music?

No, iCloud is used for syncing and back up; it is not an extension of the phones storage.


In the case of music, if this is iTunes purchased content, you can delete and redownload at any time.
