As I subscribe to iTunes match am I right that my music library is not stored in my iCloud storage? I upgraded my storage to 2tb to cover my music. But no music is showing in the storage details so I could reduce the monthly storage I pay for??

You are correct. Your music will not be stored in your iCloud storage. If it was you would see it taking up space in your iCloud settings and info page.
