I have an iphone 7 that is registered to my wife apple ID. She wants to give it to our granddaughter. My granddaughter wants to keep the pictures that are on the phone. If we set the phone up for my granddaughters apple id it will reset the phone and the pictures will be gone. Suggestions?

Download the pictures to your computer. Then get the phone ready to be given away, see here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201351. When it is set up sync the pictures back to the phone.
