i filed a claim for my iphone and a replacement was sent to me. I have decided to just upgrade instead. Can I cancel the claim and just send the replacement phone back?

Fast forward 2 weeks later and no replacement iPhone yet and dealing with AIG is a real pain. They already escalated it and don't have an answer (maybe Monday). My wife saw on official Apple Support that you can cancel the claim and set it up like a new device. Does anyone have any experience with that? My fear is that if I cancel the claim with AIG but can't restore the phone because it's still bricked, I won't be able to file another claim. Thank you for any insight!

Where do I send an iPad for a warranty claim I went to a certified service centre and was told I need to make a warranty claim on an iPad. Do I just take it to the Apple Store?

Making a claim for a broken I phone but would like to upgrade phone I have to make claim for broken iPhone would like to upgrade my phone. Wanted to send for a replacement but it doesn’t give any options to do an upgrade.

Call AppleCare with your repair ID number and ask them.
