Wrong Song Names, Album Covers and Artist

Why are some of my library songs attributed to the wrong artist? For example I have songs listed under Billy Idol that are actually Peter Frampton.

"This song is already in your iCloud Music Library." but where tho? Hi all, As you can see in the below screenshot, one of tracks is not being uploaded to my iCloud Music Library because of an error, which reads "This song is already in your iCloud Music Library. This song appears to be a duplicate of another song in your library that is already in your iCloud Music Library." How can I find the original track, or otherwise get rid of this error? iTunes doesn't give any indication as to where this other tune is. It's not labeled with the same artist or track information, as you can seen in the screenshot all the other tracks by this artist have different names and timestamps and do not have the error. I do not want to delete the alleged duplicate without identifying the original because then I will not have the tune in my library, or at least not be able to find it. There are a handful of other tracks with this issue in my library, but this is the easiest example to use.

Wrong Artist name & Link Hello. I am a novice artist under the nickname ERAZE. On May 14 my EP was published on iTunes and Apple Music, but for some reason it is "linked" to the artist Eraze, which I have nothing to do with. Hello Stoner4444,

It sounds like you have some songs that are showing the wrong information. There are a few steps you could try to resolve this issue.

Check for updates.

Update to the latest version of iTunes

Delete the music and import it again.

Do you use either iTunes Match or Apple Music? Did these songs previously have the correct details, and if so do you know when the details changed?
