Do you have a backup you can restore from?

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.

If you were syncing data with iCloud, have you signed into Settings/Your Name/iCloud using the same Apple ID used when the data was synced to iCloud, and turned the desired syncing on?
