Macbook Pro 16" Not Starting
I just got a brand new macbook pro 16" which is refusing to power on and no indication to show if it's charging. How long do I need to charge a brand new macbook pro 16" before use?

It appears that you have a brand new out of the box MacBook Pro16" and you cannot power it up. Normally one can charge it for about an hour or less and that it should power up without any effort or issue. If you have had the MacBook Pro charging for two hours or more and still cannot get it to turn ON then send it back and get an exchange or a refund completed.
In my opinion, you should not struggle with the basic task of turning a computer ON when it is brand new. Send it back.

Return it for one that works out of the box.
You have a limited 14 days for a full refund or exchange; past that it falls under a warranty repair.
Call Customer Support (800) MY–APPLE (800–692–7753)
or call AppleCare Support at 1-800-APLCARE (800-275-2273)
Usually you should be able to use the computer right out of the box. Are you saying it won't start even when it is plugged in via its power supply? If so, consider the information here:
If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support
If that doesn't lead to a resolution of your problem, you should definitely take it in to an authorized service place. The computer is under warranty and, in particular, has a 14 day return policy.
I've got something similar. I got a new 2019 MBP, and I've opened it once and done transfer from old MBP, and everything seemed to have gone fine. Except now it won't start at all, and power cord is plugged (it has 4 USB-C ports and I tried couple ones with charger), and I tried the "SMC reset" at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295. It just was charging overnight, too. I checked the power cord gives power (to a phone) so that's not it. I can't tell if the battery is charged but it should be, or else it's broken. Ideas?
I guess you're right. I'll have to return the macbook as it still refuse to boot after pluging it to power for over 14 hours.
Thanks
