Internet problems after 10.15.6 update

I'm having Internet problems after 10.15.6 update. This is on both my Macs and my wife's as well. Safari and Chrome often report a website can not be loaded. Also the help section of Amazon.com will not load. It says sorry something went wrong on our end. I tried Safe Mode and have no issues. I have not made any other changes than updating to 10.15.6. Same on all 3 computers.

Etrecheck report attached from my laptop.

Avast anti virus was the culprit here. In settings I unchecked the scan secure websites option and all is working perfectly.

Your SafeBoot test is telling...

Have you tried uninstall any and all third party VPN, Anti-virus, Cleaners, Optimizer ?

This typically resolves any issue like you are having.

I've had Avast, Private Internet Access VPN, and Malwarebytes installed for a long time with no issues. This only started after updating to 10.15.6. I can appreciate that, however if you want to resolve your issue — I advise you to uninstall to get back to terra firma. Your SafeBoot mode test indicates you have third party software issue.

After that you can add them one at a time and test along the way.

With each point update also includes refined/improved security features as well; that may not bode well for your third party additions.

I can only see one Etrecheck report— I can not comment on your"wife's computer."
