Can you connect a Dexcom G6 and headphones via Bluetooth at the same time?

My son has an iPhone XR. He is type 1 diabetic and uses the Dexcom G6 to monitor his glucose and he connects it to his iPhone so his mother and I can monitor his readings. Can he also connect Bluetooth headphones at the same time as his Dexcom G6 transmitter or is it just one or the other? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Brand1776,

We appreciate you reaching out to us with your inquiry regarding the pairing of multiple Bluetooth devices to your son's iPhone. We understand the importance of being able to track your son's readings with the Dexcom G6 and allowing him to enjoy using his phone to listen to music, videos, etc. while utilizing Bluetooth headphones.

We've done a bit of research and found that there shouldn't be any issues having both devices connected at the same time. Please review Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for details. You'll notice in section, Pair your device with a Bluetooth accessory, it's noted to simply repeat the steps to pair multiple devices.

We do hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're always happy to help.

Best wishes.
