Hello,

Can I change the backup directory of my iphone to another disk?

Windows, Windows 10

Not with default settings. You can try to tinker with symlinks (lots of guides on Google and Youtube) or get smth like iMazing (guide) that has an option to change backup location.

But I am trying something else: in the original directory I put a shortcut of the new directory I have made and all backups are going there.
