Video Unavailable in restricted mode.

Hello,


I am having a problem with my iPhone 11 Pro. When I try to watch videos for social media, I keep getting a notification that says:


”Video Unavailable. This video is unavailable with Restricted Mode enabled. To view this video, you will need to disable Restricted Mode.”


I have followed a lot of advice on here, going to setting, screen time and making sure that content and privacy restrictions is turned off, but I am still getting that message.


Anyone know how I can fix this?

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with viewing apps in third-party apps, and we'd like to see if we can assist.


Checking for restrictions was a great step to try. Do you experience this in any other apps, or only with social media? For example, if you try to watch a video in Safari, are you able to?


If the issue only occurs in these specific third-party apps, try the steps here: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won't open
