FaceTime pictures

When I’m using FaceTime on landscape mode and take a picture, the picture appears in portrait mode. As in only a small central part of the screen is captured. Can someone tell me what the issue is how I can fix it? Thank you.

iPhone 11, iOS 13

Good afternoon swaroop_10,

It sounds like you are trying to take a Live Photo while holding the iPhone in landscape orientation during a FaceTime call. You can't adjust how these photos are taken, but you can edit the photo using the Crop tool in the Photos app if you wish.
