Macbook randomly opens mail?

bruh idk if you understand the mail app randoly opens split screen and bc im coming from pc all my **** is on synced to chrome and i dont think its chromes fault it keeps randomly doing it and uninstalling it isnt a solution i use the apple mail app and thats what is having issues

what do you mean by that? im just confused why it does it, its annoying and i dont want it there, it randomly did it again

each time i close the window it comes back, i dont quit it because i use my email for verification stuff and i want it to send me the notifications
