Not receiving WhatsApp Notifications

I seem to be drawing a blank in regards to support for failures with WhatsApp Notifications. My messages sometimes can take a couple of days to be received. Also there is no Audible Sound or Vibrate.


I have checked WhatsApp support, Apple and my Broadband provider, all seem to blame the other. Yet I note that it does appear to be a common problem in checking numerous Forums. Please can someone offer a Solution?

Thank you for responding. Sorry I didn't make myself clear perhaps? I have contacted each of the various Support contacts. They all advise the issue is not their problem! Nevertheless it seems I am certainly not alone and have followed all the guidance given. The only thing I haven't yet tried is to close my WhatsApp account and re-apply, if that's possible. I am advised if I uninstall and then download my back-up Chat messages, I could be creating the same issue through settings on the Back-up? Either way its very frustrating!!
