Hi Guys In Numbers I am Trying to build simple application to list a number of items of Jewellery say with a code or description and by selecting that cell it would automatically show that item of jewellery. Can anybody help?

Can anyone help with what for the experts out there must be simple! In numbers on iMac can anyone suggest a way to link and display an image by selecting a cell content that has either a number code of description which will enable a photo or image to be displayed. Have played around with photo gallery but would prefer to either embed so that the image is opened on clicking or selecting that cell. Have dragged n dropped an image into a cell but unable to open or see image by selecting or clicking on the cell? Much appreciate for anyone's advice

Numbers isn't really designed as an image storage and retrieval app.

But you can store your images in a service like Dropbox that allows you to copy item links. You can then paste a link to each image in cells in Numbers. When you click a link you the corresponding image will open.
