Globe With An Alert Symbol (exclamation point) and My Wifi Cannot Connect

Good day! My macbook air has difficulties with the on and off wifi function and I tried to fix it following the directions I saw online. I used command+R so that I could reset the disk however, it opened with a question mark in a folder. I tried the command+R again and it opened with globe with an alert symbol (exclamation point). What is my next step? Thank you!

Good Afternoon,

So what happened is you erased the disk and when you went to boot the Mac up again there was no OS to boot after wiping the drive, so the folder means there is no intact version of Mac OS to boot to, so internet recovery is your best bet but unless you have an ethernet cable with you, if neither is possible you can also make a bootable disk drive by mounting a version of Mac OS on a portable drive and booting from it but you would need another Mac to do this on, so it may not be ideal

Many thanks
