Cannot activate iPhone 4 as cannot connect to iTunes store!

Just got my new iphone 4 but cannot use it as my main PC cannot connect to the itunes store.

I tried my old laptop, but that wouldnt recognise the iphone4. So I upgraded the laptop to the latest version of itunes, and now that cannot connect to the store either!!! (it could before the upgrade) although it now recognises the iphone4.

I have tried all the solutions I can find, changing parental controls, proxy settings, dmz, resinstalled and rebooted a thousand times. Seems the store issue is due to the new version.

This wouldnt be so bad but I need to connect to activate my new phone!

Don't know what to do from here!

I'm so angry now this has been several days. Have paid good money for these iPhones and they are useless. I knew there was a reason I never used Apple products for all these years - they are complete crap!

Get it together apple you idiots this sort of problem is not acceptable not for this period of time. If you want to force people to activate the products they buy from you, then they need to be able to do just that with as little inconvenicance as possible

Ok this is strange. Just randomly worked after posting that message. Quickly activated my phones! Wahooo!

But only worked that once. Maybe you should all post angry messages then have your phones standing by for a quick activation in the short timewindow you get.

Same problem. It may be a Talktalk problem but they say they don't support Itunes!!!!!!!!!!
