How to switch off "find my Mac"

Can anyone please advise me how to switch off "Find my Mac". I need to do this before a service at the Apple Store.

System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud (on left column) > Find My Mac (untick it)

Set up Find My on Mac - Apple Support describes the steps to enable it. Follow those same steps to de-select it.
