I don't know what happened to my iPad I was just playing with it when the colour went weird. I have already done all the recommended things like switch off, reset the iPad and tap the back a few times, but nothing happens. I have not dropped the iPad and it hasn’t fallen either. Please help me.

I was afraid of that and that’s why I didn’t think it was going to work. Like I said the key phrase was when you said you were using it and it just went funky like that.
Did you try erasing it and reinstall the iOS using iTunes on a computer? I have doubts about that as well because it looks like it could be a hardware issue and nobody here could tell that for sure. You would have to take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.
