My iPhone 8plus health app not working means it’s not counting my steps ,,floor climbing on daily basis since March 31 2020!

Let's have a look at Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness Tracking. Make sure that setting is toggled on. If it is, and you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to Apple Support.

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to use your Health app for counting steps and floor climbing. We can understand why you'd want to get this resolved.


To start, let's make sure your Health app is set up properly. Please follow these steps: Use the Health app on your iPhone, or iPod touch


Also, make sure your iPhone is up to date, as the updates contain stability fixes that can resolve issues like yours, as well as important security updates to keep your iPhone safe.



Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
