Error when updating apps - "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time"
Hi
I have been facing this problem when trying to update apps for months (iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 13.6). When I try to update apps, I get the error pop up "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time". It happens with any app. Downloading new apps works fine, but updating doesnt.
Apple Support has not been able to permanently resolve my problem, only temporary fixes. I have tried all of these - they sometimes fix the problem for a short while, but it always comes back:
- Restart phone
- Logout and log back app store account
- Remove and replace payment method
- change between WIFI and mobile (this has no effect)
- Updating to latest iOS
- Deleting and reinstalling apps
- Updating apps individually
- Updating apps using "Update All"
I sometimes end up with 50-100 apps pending update because of this error. Sometimes one or two apps will update and the rest will get stuck. IT is very FRUSTRATING!
Has anyone else experience this lately and found any good solutions?
