Heat at the top of the TouchBar in a MacBook Pro 2020 4 Thunderbird ports and 1TB SSD

Is it normal to have heat generate off the top side of the Touch Bar in a MacBook Pro 13" 2020 version with 4 ThunderBolt 3 ports and 1Tb SSD? Its happening when I charge the machine and even during working in battery mode. My tests are as a normal admin user on the machine. Thankfully the palm rests are not warm.

There is a heat vent in that area of the computer. The fans blow hot air out through the vent.
