I bought more storage but my phone is still full

I purchased more storage, deleted tons of photos, message and apps. I have maybe 5 apps...but my phone IS STILL FULL. I’m just wasting money on storage, what should I do?

Buying iCloud storage does not expand the capacity of your phone...
