Should I use keyboard cover for my Macbook Pro 2017?

I read that the dust easily enter the keyboard. But I also read that keyboard cover will damage the macbook's display.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Do not place anything between the keyboard and display.

Do not use palm rest or keycap covers on a Mac notebook with a Retina display - Apple Support
