When I FaceTime on my iPad the person I’m talking with can’t hear me. There is a slash through the mic icon but when I click on it the slash stays but the color changes, black to white. Again this is on an iPad. When I record a video it picks up the surrounding sounds. When I talk to Siri she responds. But when I try Voice Memo it does not pick up sound. Any suggestions?
A forced-restart of your iPad may help - as this often clears an isolated issue:
