Charging defects

I bought a brand new iphone x from the market, and I have found that it takes almost 10 hours to charge from 0 to 100.

It's extremely likely the phone you bought was new.

The iPhone X was discontinued in September of 2018.

We gave the phone to apple authorised service provider (retailer) to repair. Now will they give us the refurbished or new replacement phone? The phone was still brand new.
