How to delete SMTP servers in iOS 13.x

How does one delete SMTP servers in iOS 13.x? Before answering, please do not suggest deleting the entire email account and re-creating it --- that is a useless suggestion for if that is the only way to delete SMTP servers in iOS, then Apple need to fix this glaring UX gap.

Pretty basic stuff here...

@Tesserax: I will concede you were trying to assist but the issue isn't as simple as going to the OTHER SMTP SERVERS section as you suggest. If even a single EM account has an SMTP server cfg'd as a primary, then the SMTP server cannot be deleted. And of course, the only way to remove a primary SMTP server is to either (a) delete all EM accounts that use that SMTP server as primary; or (b) re-cfg all EM accounts that use that SMTP server as primary...and actually, in my experience, option "A" is the only reliable method.

This is why I stated "pretty basic stuff" because for Apple to require these machinations to remove an STMP server is ridiculous. This used to be far far simpler...

I couldn't agree more. Regardless of, whether or not, Apple uses the K.I.S.S. approach to their design strategies, it leaves most folks, with greater technical skills, often wondering ... and, in some cases, extremely frustrated. I know, I have been at times.

FWIW, Apple does provide a means to provide them with feedback and this issue, I think, would make for a great candidate for submittal. If you're game, I suggest that you submit it here: Product Feedback - Apple

You know the answer to your question, if you don't like it ask your mail provider how to delete their smtp server off a device, let them know it pretty basic stuff.
